200 Rooms at Hotel Nusantara Targeted to be Completed in August, Here’s the Progress

Hotel construction in the capital city of the archipelago (IKN) continues, one of which is Hotel Nusantara. The construction of the Nusantara Hotel has been under construction since November 2023.
Head of the IKN Authority, Bambang Susantono, said that the infrastructure building at IKN was not only from the Ministry of PUPR, but also from private investors, one of which was the Nusantara Consortium which built the Nusantara Hotel. Hotel Nusantara is targeted to be ready for use in August 2024.
“So there will indeed be infrastructure buildings built by the PUPR Ministry, but there will also be several private investors whose buildings may already be visible, especially for the Nusantara Hotel which is expected to be completed in August and can start operating with 200 rooms,” he explained in DPR RI Commission II Building, Monday (18/3/2024).
Not only Hotel Nusantara, there will also be a 3-star hotel with a capacity of 200 rooms which is targeted for completion in August 2024, namely Qubika. “And then the others are still in progress so they may not be available at the time of the ceremony in August 2024,” he said.
For your information, there will be around 6,800 invitations to hold the ceremony at IKN on August 17.
Separately, Deputy for Funding and Investment at OIKN Agung Wicaksono said that currently construction of the Nusantara Hotel is around 50% complete. The hotel is targeted for completion in August 2024.
“Yesterday we saw that the facade was already visible, so maybe almost 50%, I don’t remember the number, but the facade is already there,” said Agung after a meeting with Commission II of the DPR RI.
Previously, the Head of OIKN, Bambang Susantono, said that there were hotels that were planned to be operational in August which were the result of investment from the private sector, one of which was Hotel Nusantara.
“Approximately 200 rooms will be available on August 17. There are 2 hotels that will be available on August 17,” said Bambang Susanto in the Post-IKN Future Seminar on Saturday (17/2/2024).
